| Descripción : | Auditory function is important for animals, as it is a means by which much of the interaction with their environment occurs and a decrease or loss of this function can have a mild or extreme impact on the animal. The loss of a sense affects the ability to express normal behavior, predisposing the dog to feel more vulnerable and anxious, mainly during the initial period of adaptation. Likewise, owners may also find their dog's disability emotionally distressing and difficult to manage.
