dc.descriptionTo carry out this article we implemented an event study. Aiming to analyze the causality of the effect of the signature and the entry into force of the agreement with the International Center for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID) on foreign direct investment (FDI). Data from the World Bank and the ICSID official website are used for the estimates. It is found that there is no causality between being part of the entity with FDI in the short or medium term...es_ES
