| Resumen : | El presente trabajo desarrolla un plan de negocios de Transporte Terrestre Ejecutivo VIP para pasajeros desde y hacia la ciudad de Quito y las instalaciones del nuevo aeropuerto en Tababela ubicado a 25 Km de la ciudad. La ciudad de Quito se ha visto afectada en los últimos años por un aumento de su patio vehicular lo cual ha complicado el tráfico, la congestión y movilidad. A pesar de la medida impuesta por el Municipio de Quito, “pico y placa”, que consiste en restringir la circulación de ciertos automotores por seis horas, cada día, de acuerdo a su número de placa, no se ha logrado aliviar el tráfico de la ciudad. El nuevo aeropuerto de Quito tiene una fecha aproximada de inauguración febrero del 2013. A lo largo de la presentación del plan de negocios se han encontrado algunas variables de tránsito, tráfico, falta de vías y las cifras tomadas de la página web de Quiport (Quiport2008) en la cual se indica que en el actual aeropuerto han operado 85.800 vuelos al año y sus usuarios llegaron a 4’600.000 (2010), con estos datos se encuentra que existe una oportunidad de mercado para transportar pasajeros desde y hacia el nuevo aeropuerto por medio del servicio de Transporte Ejecutivo. Lo cual permitirá a los miles de usuarios optimizar tiempos y costos de transporte y a la vez recibir un servicio que le facilite el transporte y le evite varias horas de conducir. El tiempo que toma llegar al nuevo aeropuerto por el tráfico es de casi 1h30 de ida y 1h30de vuelta si el tráfico está fluido, es una excelente oportunidad para ofrecer un servicio de transporte que facilite en tiempo y confort a los usuarios del nuevo aeropuerto de Quito. |
| Descripción : | The following Essay develops an executive VIP ground transportation Business plan, for passengers going from the city of Quito to the new Airport at Tababela, 25k from the city. In the last few years Quito has had a large increase in its traffic court, which has contributed to traffic congestion and to an increasingly transportation chaos. Despite of the legal action taken by the “Municipio de Quito”, “Pico y Placa”, which restricts, for six hours every day, normal circulation of some vehicles depending on the last digit of the license plate, vehicular chaos has not been reduced as expected. Quito’s new airport has a due inauguration date for February of 2013, approximately. During the presentation of this Business Plan some variables have been encountered, which refer to traffic, travel, lack of access routes. There have been also found some statistics (taken from Quito’s website, Quiport 2012), that say that there were 85.800 flights a year, and that the number of travelers ascended to 4’600.000 (2010). There is a big market opportunity in the form of transporting travelers from and to the new airport using Executive Transportation. This will allow to thousands of users a way of optimizing transportation time and costs, and at the same time will allow them to receive a service that simplifies city to airport travel and avoids hours of driving. This service would be offered to national and international travelers, especially at the airport traffic rush hours. It will also be available 24 hours a day. The time that will be spent in each trip to and from the airport is calculated to be 1 hour and 30 minutes during light traffic. This creates an excellent opportunity to offer a transportation service that saves money and time to all users of the new Quito’s airport. |
