| dc.description | The Environmental Monitoring Center of the Metropolitan District of Quito (CMA-DMQ in Spanish) is an interdisciplinary institution, focus on preventive actions, designed to monitor the environmental aspects of Quito city and its surroundings. Considering that the [...] contemporary cities are nowadays, increasingly complex spaces, and for that reason more dark, at the light of new technological processes the CMA-DMQ is intended as an institution complementary to the national risk management. The CMA-DMQ, seeking to connect the four main institutions responsible for the monitoring and surveillance of the DMQ: the EPN's Geophysical Institute, the Ministry of Security, the INAMHI and the Ministry of Environment. The main objective being to promote the exchange of timely information between these institutions, prevent and act during an emergency process. | dc.description.abstract | La Central de Monitoreo Ambiental del Distrito Metropolitano de Quito (CMADMQ) busca ser una institución interdisciplinaria, de carácter preventivo, destinada a monitorear los aspectos ambientales de la ciudad de Quito y sus alrededores. Tomando en consideración que las […] urbes contemporáneas son, hoy en día, espacios cada vez más complejos, y por esa misma razón más opacos, a la luz de los nuevos procesos tecnológicos la CMA-DMQ pretende ser una institución complementaria al sistema nacional de gestión de riesgos. La CMA-DMQ, busca por lo tanto, conectar las cuatro instituciones principales que están encargadas del monitoreo y vigilancia del DMQ: Instituto Geofísico EPN, Secretaria de Seguridad, INAMHI y la Secretaria de Ambiente. Con el objetivo principal de fomentar un intercambio de información oportuna entre estas instituciones y de esta forma prevenir y actuar durante un proceso de emergencia. De esta forma, respondiendo a un sistema de intercambio de información, relacionado al esquema lineal del terreno, nace el partido arquitectónico. | es_ES |
