dc.descriptionThe Craft Training Center as a support for the “Plaza de Ponchos” in Otavalo is a project that aims to convert negative memories of the old fabric factories in the area and the repression of indigenous culture, in memories and positive experiences, through a physical element that works with the memory and the architecture of the place. The transformation is given by turn a site in a place designed specially for the people, to improve their living conditions, creating spaces to be experienced and remembered, generating through the architecture an object with character and identity for its people.es_ES
dc.description.abstractEl Centro de Capacitación Artesanal como apoyo a la Plaza de Ponchos de Otavalo, es un proyecto que pretende convertir memorias negativas de los antiguos obrajes de la zona y la represión de la cultura indígena en memorias y experiencias positivas, por medio de un objeto arquitectónico trabajado en base a la memoria y la arquitectura del lugar. Se da la transformación de un sitio, en un lugar pensado y diseñado para las personas, para mejorar sus condiciones de vida, creando espacios para ser vividos y recordados, generando por medio de la arquitectura un objeto con carácter e identidad para su gente.es_ES
