| dc.description | The automotive industry in Ecuador has been characterized from 2003 to 2011 for having an upward trend in sales. However, the government reforms adopted since late 2011 have generated a decrease in sales in the Ecuadorian automotive sector. To date we have several laws and government actions that are expected to impact directly and indirectly to the national auto market, generating results in a lack of clarity on the future of the industry. This research aims to study in depth the current industry environment and the upcoming reforms to be approved by the government, and thereby infer its impact in the sector. The purpose of this study can be used as a guide for companies that are directly or indirectly part of the automotive industry. | es_ES |
| dc.description.abstract | La industria automotriz en el Ecuador se ha caracterizado desde el año 2003 al 2011 por tener una tendencia creciente. Las reformas gubernamentales aprobadas desde finales del año 2011 han generado un decrecimiento de ventas en sector automotriz ecuatoriano, a la fecha se tienen varias leyes y medidas gubernamentales que se espera que impacten de manera directa e indirecta al mercado automotor nacional, generando como consecuencia una escasa claridad sobre el futuro de la industria, La presente investigación tiene como objetivo estudiar a profundidad el actual entorno de la industria y las próximas reformas a ser aprobadas por el gobierno y con ello inferir su repercusión el sector. El fin del estudio que pueda ser utilizado como guía para las empresas que forman parte de sector automotriz de manera directa o indirecta. | es_ES |
