dc.descriptionIntroduction : currently there are several alternatives for the treatment of insufficient saphenous trunks , which include laser , radio frequency; the ENOF is another effective, safe and inexpensive alternative for this purpose , developing a method that combines image -guided endoluminal techniques and escleroespuma . Materials and Methods : 52 patients with 37 tips incompetence of the greater and lesser saphenous veins were intercepted , with the presence of angles greater than 90 ° in the path of the saphenous and diameters between 5 and 12 mm in several of them . the technique is described step by step . 12 months follow-up was performed.es_ES
dc.description.abstractIntroducción: en la actualidad existe varias alternativas para el tratamiento de la insuficiencia de los troncos safenos, que incluyen el láser, la radio frecuencia; el ENOF constituye otra alternativa eficaz, segura y de bajo costo para este propósito, desarrollando un método que combina las técnicas endoluminales guiadas con imagen y la escleroespuma. Materiales y Métodos: 52 extremidades de 37 pacientes con incompetencia de las venas safenas mayor y menor fueron intervenidas, con presencia de ángulos mayores a 90° en el trayecto de la safena y diámetros entre 5 y 12 mm en varias de ellas. Se describe la técnica paso a paso. Se realizó seguimiento a 12 meses.es_ES
