| Resumen : | Este proyecto tiene como finalidad rescatar el barrio quiteño de La Floresta, que en algún punto fue uno de los mejores barrios de Quito lleno de arte y cultura. Esto será posible mediante un Centro Cultural y Artístico Contemporáneo el cual contará con un teatro, una biblioteca, un museo, una tienda de venta, talleres y una cafetería en la cual se podrá mostrar el arte y la cultura contemporánea tanto ecuatoriana como del mundo entero, resaltando así la gran importancia del arte contemporáneo y el desarrollo artístico que ha tenido esta área. Todo esto ayudará a restaurar La Floresta a lo que algún día fue y le dará una mejor visión hacia el futuro. Actualmente, ya se están dando estos cambios en el barrio ya que viejas casas y edificios están siendo transformados para darles un uso más comercial y publico manteniendo el viejo estilo urbano artística de la zona para la recaptura y la elevación de todo el vecindario, sirviendo a su comunidad local, así como de turismo y los visitantes que se encuentran Quito, Ecuador un lugar cultural y artísticamente rica. |
| Descripción : | This project is intended to recapture the neighborhood La Floresta, at one point a very prestigious and popular place in the city of Quito full of art and culture. This will be possible through a Cultural and Artistically Contemporary Center which will include facilities like a theater, a library, a museum, workshops, shopping stores and a coffee shop where art, local as well as international, will be presented to the public giving great importance to contemporary art and the development of art recognition in the area. All this will help start the process of restoring La Floresta to what it once was, and reevaluate its importance for the future. There is already action taking place in this neighborhood, old homes and buildings being transformed for public and commercial use, keeping the old artistic urban style yet molding the area for the recapturing and uplifting of the entire neighborhood, serving its local community as well as tourist and visitors who find Quito, Ecuador a culturally and artistically rich place. |
