| Resumen : | TEMA: TRATAMIENTO DE SINDROME CERVICAL El síndrome cervical consiste en un proceso benigno y habitualmente autolimitado, pero provocan cifras muy altas de incapacidad y ausentismo laboral. El tratamiento dependerá del tipo de dolor, es decir si es nociceptivo que es el más frecuente, neuropático o mixto. El objetivo del tratamiento debe calmar el dolor, individualizar la dosis de medicación para evitar efectos adversos y categorizar la disfuncionalidad cervical para poder llevar al paciente desde el tratamiento medicamentoso conservador al tratamiento invasivo, pues el pronóstico de la cervicalgia habitualmente se resuelve en días o semanas, pero puede recurrir o convertirse en crónico.
