dc.descriptionThe main objective of this work is the analysis and transcription of the trumpet solo by Chet Baker on the song “But Not for Me”. In this work, all the techniques that Chet Baker uses will be described, like the easiness of his melody, the little movement that he does, the use of simple and melodic phrases, the superstructures, and how the solo in general is based around the available tensions of each one of the chords. Giving birth to something relatively easy, but something that will captivate anyone who listens to it. In future works, the main focus can be the reason why Chet Baker’s solo is so easy, analyzing him like one of the main exponents of “Cool Jazz”...es_ES
dc.description.abstractEl objetivo de este trabajo es el análisis y transcripción sobre el solo de trompeta que interpreta Chet Baker en el tema “But Not for Me”. En el mismo se describirán las técnicas que utiliza Baker como la sencillez en su melodía, el movimiento en grado conjunto que realiza, el movimiento con frases simples y melódicas, las superestructuras y como todo el solo en general está basado en las tensiones disponibles de cada uno de los acordes. Dando como resultado un solo relativamente sencillo, pero que cautivará a cualquiera que lo escuche. En futuros trabajos se puede enfocar en el por qué es tan sencillo el solo de Chet Baker, analizándolo como uno de los máximos exponentes del “Cool Jazz”...es_ES
