| dc.description | The Clifford Brown and Max Roach Quintet, highlights the different techniques applied to the arrangements in such a way that the listener can better appreciate its interpretation. In addition to pointing out the functions and features of each section of the arrangment, it also provides an analysis of the standard form itself, through its melody. The second chapter is the analysis of the basis of this interpretation. Examining the various techniques applied throughout the subject, from the implementation and harmonization of the melody, to the kicks, stop times and other inputs from the rhythm section. Being a song written and performed by musicians belonging to the style known as hard bop, the analysis also highlightights characteristics of this sub genre. | es_ES |
| dc.description.abstract | Este análisis de forma y arreglo del tema Jordu de Duke Jordan, interpretado por Clifford Brown y el quinteto de Max Roach, se encarga de resaltar las diferentes técnicas que se aplicaron al arreglo, de modo que se puede apreciar mejor su interpretación. Además de señalar las funciones y características de cada sección del arreglo, también ofrece un análisis de la forma en sí del estándar, a través de su melodía. El segundo capítulo consiste en el análisis del arreglo de esta interpretación. Examina las distintas técnicas que se aplicaron a lo largo del tema, desde la instrumentación y la armonización de la melodía, hasta los kicks, stop times y otros aportes de la sección rítmica.
