dc.descriptionThe present work begins with the location of a reinforced concrete structure situated in Guayas province, which consists in a combination of column, beam, and wall elements. Subsequently, the NEC requirements for this structure were analyzed to understand its current state against seismic loads. Using the structural plans, the model was replicated in ETABS software, in which the dynamic behavior of the structure was analyzed to identify design errors in the elements and verify if they are vulnerable during an earthquake...es_ES
dc.description.abstractEl presente trabajo inicia con la ubicación de una estructura de hormigón armado localizada en la provincia del Guayas, la cual consta de una combinación de elementos tipo columna, vigas y muros. Posteriormente se analizaron los requerimientos NEC en esta estructura para conocer el estado actual de la misma frente a cargas sísmicas. Con ayuda de los planos estructurales se replicó el modelo en el software ETABS, en el cual se analizó el comportamiento dinámico de la estructura para identificar errores de diseño en los elementos y comprobar si estos son vulnerables ante un sismo...es_ES
