| dc.description | El Teleférico promotes the beauty of the city so both, citizens and foreigners, can live the experience of watching Quito to the fullest extent. My project’s objective is to conduct a reassessment of this place as it is an important tourist area of the city which currently does not have a proper function and is abandoned. That is why, given the conditions, the restatement includes a new use and adaptation of the infrastructure that the Teleférico has, changing its focus and operations in different areas. The proposal aims to create continuous and fluid spaces that can enjoy the magnificent view of the area. Each space is unique and attempts to unify nature or sports with the architectural site funding to provide the users an unforgettable experience. | es_ES |
| dc.description.abstract | El Teleférico promueve la belleza de la ciudad, para que tanto quiteños como extranjeros puedan vivir la experiencia de observar a quito en su completa magnitud. Mi proyecto de fin de carrera consiste en realizar un replanteamiento de este lugar ya que es un área turística muy importante de la ciudad que actualmente no tiene un funcionamiento adecuado y se encuentra abandonado. Es por esto que, dadas sus condiciones, el replanteamiento incluye un nuevo uso y adaptación de la infraestructura ya realizada en el Teleférico, cambiando su enfoque y funcionamiento en diferentes áreas. Se pretende crear espacios continuos y fluidos, que puedan gozar de la magnífica vista de la zona. Cada espacio es único y trata de unificar la naturaleza o el deporte con la parte arquitectónica del lugar para así dar al usurario una experiencia única. | es_ES |
