| dc.description | The purpose of this study is to optimize the production line of a company that is dedicated to produce steel structures for construction industry. The first stage of this project includes general information of the company and all the processes that are involved in the production of these structures. Later on, a new physical distribution is proposed; this new proposal will reduce the distance between each work section and also, the material transportation times. The hypothesis is that these changes will increase the number of units that are produced per day. | es_ES |

En la primera etapa se presenta información general de la empresa y los procesos involucrados en la producción de las estructuras. Posterior a esto, se plantea una nueva propuesta de distribución física de la planta que reduzca la distancia entre sectores de trabajo y a su vez disminuya los tiempos de transporte del material en proceso.
