dc.descriptionThe aim of this report was to evaluate clinically, and to make a bibliographical review of the most common periodontal manifestations which occur in both acute and chronic leukemia patients of the Hospital General de Las Fuerzas Armadas N 1 of Quito. As the main periodontal clinical complications in these patients, the most frequent were gingival bleeding, gingival hyperplasia, gingival pain, generalized alveolar bone loss, ulcerations, erosions, ecchymosis, petechiae, and bacterial, fungal and viral infections.es_ES
dc.description.abstractEl objetivo de este trabajo fue evaluar clínicamente y realizar una revisión bibliográfica de las principales manifestaciones periodontales que sufren los pacientes portadores de leucemia aguda y crónica del Hospital General de las Fuerzas Armadas N 1 de la ciudad de Quito y analizar la importancia de la acción del odontólogo en el reconocimiento y diagnóstico precoz en base en las manifestaciones bucales de la enfermedad.es_ES
