| dc.description | The main goal of this work is the development of the first phase of a distribution system design of a non-existent company. The purpose of the company is to be an intermediary between suppliers and customers in the foodservice industry in Quito. It is intended, in this first design phase, to establish the operational foundation over which the design and planning of the short and mid-term operations will have to be made. | dc.description.abstract | La presente tesis de grado tiene como primer objetivo la realización de la primera fase del diseño del sistema de distribución de una empresa en planes de creación y cuyo propósito es el de ser un intermediario entre los clientes y proveedores del sector de alimentos y bebidas en el Distrito Metropolitano de Quito. Esta primera establecerá las bases operativas a largo plazo sobre las cuales se deberá diseñar y planificar la operación del negocio a corto y mediano plazo. El estudio se concentra en establecer los lineamientos operativos de cada uno de los cuatro componentes de un sistema de distribución, a saber: inventario, transporte, sistemas de información y almacenamiento y manejo de materiales. | es_ES |
