dc.descriptionInternational investment agreements (IIAs), the international inversor-State dispute sysrem and the most favored nation clause (MFNC or MFN), among others, are being analyzed by States in important forums. Ecuador has not stayed away from the discussions that these complex matters raise. Against this background, this thesis will focus and analyze what we call the "critical evolutionary position" of the Ecuadorian State on this subject. It is worth noting that, for reasons of time and space, this work will focus on the critical evolutionary position of Ecuador in relation to the BIT regime, the current investor- State dispute resolution system and the MFNC...es_ES
